Renee Doyle, President |

 |
Renee T. Doyle is a founder of Maple River
Education Coalition, which is now EdWatch. She served as President
from 1998 to 2001. Renee began a new term as President of EdWatch in
July, 2004. She has been a featured speaker at rallies, conferences,
and talk shows, both as guest and host. She is a former school board
member from the Maple River School District. She resigned in 1998 over
the forced implementation of the Profile of Learning, Minnesota's
Goals 2000. Her school board resignation letter was published in
newspapers across the state which sparked the movement for its repeal.
Renee Doyle is an avid educational researcher of the new education
system in Minnesota and across the country. She is a wife, mother and
small business owner who has become a spokesperson for education
activists across this state and country. |

Julie Quist, Vice
President

Julie Quist has served as Vice-President
of EdWatch since its founding in 1998. She has been active as a
volunteer for EdWatch as an education researcher and analyst of the
federal Goals 2000, School-to-Work, Workforce Investment, and Baby Ed
system since 1997. She presently serves as the political director. Julie Quist served as a member of the Executive Committee of the
Minnesota Republican Party and as the Chairwoman of the Second
Congressional District Republican Party in Minnesota from 1991 to
1997. In 1986 she was an endorsed Republican candidate for the
Minnesota House of Representatives. In 1987, Julie married Allen Quist,
a widower with nine children. In 1998 she managed her husband's
campaign for Governor. Julie and her husband, Allen, live in rural SW
Minnesota. They have ten children and nineteen grandchildren. |

Michael J. Chapman, founder of
American Heritage Research, is an author, speaker, education researcher and
full-time technical writer. Michael owns an extensive collection of rare books, which he uses to expose worldview bias and
the censorship of America's true Christian heritage within mainstream public school curriculum.
Michael has conducted extensive research for local and nationally elected representatives, provided expert testimony, and
wrote the American Heritage Act, which overwhelmingly passed in the Minnesota House (see the text at his website). His
research has been sited by such authors as John Stormer, Mel and Norma Gabler, Dr. David Noebel, Col. E. Ray Moore, and
Professor Allen Quist.
Michael has presented to staff at Focus on the Family, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the
Heritage Foundation. He has been a featured speaker at many education conferences across the nation including the Education
Policy Conference in St. Louis, the Council on National Policy in Washington, D.C., and Philis Schlafly's Eagle Forum
Leadership Conference. Michael has also been a frequent guest on such shows as "Point of View," Phyllis Schlafly "Live," and
John Loeffler's "Steel on Steel."
Michael, his wife of 28 years, Joy, and their two daughters reside in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Dr. Karen Effrem, is a pediatrician, researcher, and conference
speaker. Dr. Effrem's medical degree is from Johns Hopkins University
and her pediatric training from the University of Minnesota. She has
provided testimony for Congress, as well as in-depth analysis of
numerous pieces of major federal education, health, and early
childhood legislation for congressional staff and many organizations.
Dr. Effrem serves on the boards of four national organizations:
EdWatch, the Alliance for Human Research Protection, ICSPP, and the
National Physicians Center. She has spoken at numerous state and
national conferences. She has been interviewed by or quoted in
WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, newspapers, and radio and television stations
across the country. Dr. Karen Effrem and her husband, Paul, have
three children and live in the Minneapolis metro area. |

Larry Pratt has been Executive
Director of Gun Owners of America for 25 years. GOA is a national
membership organization of 200,000 Americans dedicated to promoting
their second amendment freedom to keep and bear arms. Pratt has appeared on numerous
national radio and TV programs such as NBC Morning News, CNN’s
Crossfire and Larry King Live, Fox’s Hannity & Colmes
and many others. He has debated Congressmen James Traficant, Jr.
(D-OH), Charles Rangel (D-NY), Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), Senator
Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), and Vice President Al Gore, among others.
His columns have appeared in newspapers across the country.
Pratt has held elective office in
the state legislature of Virginia, serving in the House of Delegates.
Pratt directs a number of other public interest organizations and
serves as the Vice-Chairman of the American Institute for Cancer
Research.
Pratt serves as an elder in the
Harvester Presbyterian Church in Springfield, VA. He is married with
four children and thirteen grandchildren. |

Michael D. Ostrolenk,

Michael D.
Ostrolenk has his undergraduate degree in government from West
Virginia Wesleyan College. His Masters Degree is in Counseling
Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. He did post-graduate
training in Health Psychology. Michael is a licensed psychotherapist
(CA). Mr. Ostrolenk was formerly on the Board of Directors for the
Health Medicine Forum and the Republican Liberty Caucus. He is a
public policy consultant who works on health, education, privacy and
food issues. His clients include but are not limited to; the
Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Citizens for Health
and The Arlington Institute. He is the founder and national
coordinator for the Medical Privacy Coalition. He is also the Vice
President of The Center for Liberty and Community and serves as senior
editor for their newspaper, The Free Liberal. He lives with
his wife in the Washington, DC area. |
